The MotivMfg x DR American Camp Shirt is designed as a meeting point between dutiful industrial-era workwear, military button downs, and outdoor overshirts to serve as a wardrobe staple for an Original Gentleman. This American Camp Shirt is made from a luxurious, textured, and sophisticated Bone white 10 oz. Heavy Irish Linen that is one of the finest suiting-grade 100% Linen cloths in the world, revered by designers for its durability, structure, and featherweight feel. This dutiful Linen is produced by Ireland's prized Spence Bryson® mill, established in 1891 and remaining the gold standard, using only the highest quality flax fibers and traditional wet spinning methods to yield refined, high-density yarns for warm-weather tailoring fabrics that will patina gracefully and evolve to match the shape of the wearer. This new classic button down is derived from early 20th-century factory workwear and outdoor camping shirts, designed to pair with tailoring or casual ensembles. Recreated in an anatomically tailored fit with set-in sleeves, dual back shoulder pleats, and a slightly curved hem intended to be worn untucked, the cut of this shirt strikes a perfect balance between vintage and contemporary. Paying homage to the originals with a finished sophistication, this shirt features a chest pocket with a curved and buttoned flap front, a curved point collar with hidden under-collar buttons, and buttoned barrel cuffs. This piece features superior bespoke and old-world detailing, including a gusseted side seam panel, single and double needle construction, felled seams, bartack reinforcements, and custom shell buttons, for an authentic antique aesthetic.
