Japanese Selvedge Denim produced exclusively for Samurai on vintage shuttle looms that run at extremely low speeds and require hand operation. This results in a lower tension fabric with a colorfast suren brown dyed warp and undyed natural tan weft using thick and twisted #5 slub yarns of Texas-grown cotton that have a rough texture like the denim of yesteryear, with irregularities that will soften quickly and develop a structured drape and subtle fade patterns reflective of military garments. Designed in Samurai's Regular Straight fit, this modern interpretation of a classic silhouette is tailored to comfortably suit all body types while forming a personalized fit over time.
